BYNUM INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

As of September 15, 2010, 100% of all Bynum ISD teachers met highly qualified teacher standards as set forth by No Child Left Behind (NCLB). In addition, all paraprofessionals met the NCLB highly qualified standard. The Principal Attestation verifying teacher and paraprofessional qualifications was completed on October 26, 2010 and filed in the school office and principal's office.
