School Nutrition
The Bynum ISD School Nutrition Department seeks to improve student achievement through nutrition in a way that: Emphasizes nutritionally sound meals that are acceptable to children. Improves and maintains the health of students through nutritionally adequate, educationally sound, financially accountable, nonprofit school nutrition programs. Encourages united efforts of school nutrition staff, parents, and students to assure that every child has an opportunity to receive the benefits of the child nutrition programs. Develop high standards by encouraging educational programs that provide personal and professional growth to school nutrition personnel. ...so that students enter the classroom well-nourished and ready to learn.
