Welcome to Third Grade at Bynum ISD for 2010-2011. It's going to be a great year!
I am so excited to have this class back again. I remember you guys from First Grade! We've added a few new faces and now number 24! A big class...with a big future!
For those who don't know me - and for those who want to know a little more about me...I earned my teaching certificate in 2002 and have enjoyed teaching at Bynum since that time. I grew up in Arlington, a country girl stuck in the city. I attended Tarleton State University, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture. I met my husband, Chris there and after graduating we moved to Hill County to train horses. We've since moved on to raising and training Border Collies. Chris is active in the Texas Sheep Dog Association, where he shows our dogs. I showed for a couple of years until Jennifer came along, followed by Kyle. They are nearly grown now - Jennifer is in her third year of college and Kyle is a senior at Bynum this year.
We live outside of Bynum on 53 acres. Over the years our family has been involved in showing dogs, goats, and horses. We've raised dogs, chickens, goats and sheep. Currently, we have 40 goats, ten dogs (counting the two guard dogs), one horse, two cats, and 54 chickens (you should see the mobile coop they'll live in!).
I'm looking forward to a great year!
