Registration Dates for the 2011-2012 School Year

Bynum ISD will be conducting registration for the 2011-2012 school year. All registrations forms are available for download from the Registration Packets Link on the Left . This will allow you to fill out all necessary registration papers in advance. Please note the time and date for each grade to register and pick up schedules. Lockers will be issued to students in grades 5-12 once registration packets have been completed and returned to the office.

~11th & 12th Grades – Tuesday, August 2, 8 AM to 3 PM. Closed 12 -1PM for Lunch.

~10th & 9th Grades – Wednesday, August 3, 8 AM to 3 PM. Closed 12 -1PM for Lunch.

~New Students & Pre-K – Thursday, August 4, 8 AM to 3 PM. Closed 12 -1PM for Lunch. ***See more information below for enrolling New & Pre-K students***

~5th-8th Grades can pick up schedules and registration packets anytime Tuesday, August 2 through Thursday August 4 from 8 AM to 3 PM. Closed 12 -1PM for Lunch.

~Pre-K – 4th Grades can pick up registration packets, drop off school supplies and meet your teacher from 6PM-6:30PM on August 16 “Meet The Bulldogs” Night.
 
**If you are enrolling a New student the following items are required**
>Driver’s License or Photo ID of person enrolling the child
>Child’s Birth Certificate
>Child’s Shot Record
>Proof of Residence (utility bill)
>Meals Application ** (Only if enrolling a child in Pre-K)**
>Household Income Stubs for the month (June or July stubs) **(Only if enrolling a child in Pre-K)

August 22, 2011 is quickly appoarching. Visit the School Supply link to get a copy of the school supplies needed for grades Pre-k thru 8th grade.

Information concerning school closing due to weather or any other emergency will be dispensed through the SchoolReach phone contact service. Through this program, each student household will be called and a recorded message from the superintendent will advise parents of a school closing or delayed opening. The effectiveness of this program depends upon the use of valid and current phone numbers. For this reason, parents are urged to update telephone numbers when changes occur.
Information will also be posted on the school’s website at www.bynumisd.net, and available through radio station KHBR (AM 1560), KXXV-TV channel 25 in Waco, and KXAS-TV channel 5 in Dallas/Ft.Worth.
